The BRIDGE 2 Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility was founded by
David Skews (CEO of EDP Health Safety and Environment Consultants Ltd )
out of a concern for needy communities he visited in Cambodia and India.

He quickly realised that what he saw first hand was only the tiniest tip of a very large iceberg and that there are needy communities in many parts of the world who are suffering hardship due to drought, famine, war, poor government, exploitation, disease, lack of education and many other causes.

The company (EDP HS+E Consultants) provides office accommodation and resources for the BRIDGE 2 Foundation at its premises in the North West of England.
